Shah Rukh Khan and Sons to Voice Mufasa, Simba in 'The Lion King' Prequel: A Royal Family Affair

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to reprise his role as the iconic Lion King in the upcoming prequel, Mufasa: The Lion King. The photorealistic animated musical-drama will see Shah Rukh lending his voice to the titular character, alongside his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, who will voice Simba and Young Mufasa, respectively, in the Hindi dubbed version.

The trailer, released recently, offers a glimpse into the story of Mufasa's origins, showcasing his journey from an orphaned cub to a mighty king. The promo features the voices of Shreyas Talpade and Sanjay Mishra as Timon and Pumbaa, respectively, as they narrate the legend of Mufasa to young Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala.



Fans are thrilled to see the Khan trio collaborate once again, with many taking to social media to express their excitement. "Will watch this movie only to listen to his voice," wrote one fan, while another commented, "Nobody can represent a king better than the king himself."

Mufasa: The Lion King is a prequel to the 2019 remake of the 1994 animated classic and promises to delve into the brotherly bond between Mufasa and Scar, as well as Mufasa's journey to acceptance in his family.
