'Pushpa 2' villain Fahadh Faasil ready for Bollywood debut, first film 'Idiots of Istanbul' revealed

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is in the headlines these days for his new film 'Pushpa 2 The Rule'. In the film, he played the role of villain Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. After the blockbuster success of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', Fahadh Faasil is now ready for his first Bollywood project, the title of which has also finally been revealed. Fahadh's first Bollywood film is named 'Idiots of Istanbul', which is a love story, in which Tripti Dimri will be in the lead role with him. The film is being directed by Imtiaz Ali.

The reason for this title of the film is that most of it will be shot in Istanbul, Turkey and its story also revolves around this city. This will be a romantic comedy, in which both the characters of the film will be seen travelling to Turkey's largest city i.e. Istanbul. Apart from this, other parts of the film will be shot in India and Europe.

Let us tell you that this is the first time that Fahad Faasil and Tripti Dimri will be seen together. Before this, both the actors have not worked together. It was also told that the pre-production work of the film has started, as Imtiaz Ali has also completed his recce round. The makers are currently finalizing their script and are ready to see a new look of Fahad and Tripti in their next film. The pair of Fahad and Tripti are also ready to start work on the film.

Fahad Faasil is in the news these days for Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, in which he plays the villain Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Recently, a controversy has also arisen over the name of Fahadh Faasil's character in the film. Karni Sena has expressed objection to the surname 'Shekhawat' used with Fahadh Faasil's character in Pushpa 2. At the same time, Tripti was last seen in Rajkummar Rao's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'. At the same time, Imtiaz Ali once again won the hearts of the audience with his recent release 'Amar Singh Chamkila'. The film, released in 2024, stars Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
