Pushpa 2: The Rule Set to Smash Box Office Records Even Before Release
Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is still nine days away from release in theatres, the film will be released exactly on the 10th day of today. Even before its release, the film is set to break all box office records. The film is set for a grand release worldwide and even before this, rapid booking has started not only in India but also in the US. The way the tickets for the film are being sold; indicates that the film will have a bumper opening. The film has surpassed blockbusters like 'RRR' and 'Jawaan' in its initial days of booking.
On Monday, trade tracker Venky Box Office shared the booking collections for the film's US premiere. Trade analysts on X tweeted, 'Pushpa 2 The Rule USA Premiere Advance Sales - $1,383,949, 900 locations, 3420 shows, 50008 tickets sold.' In Indian currency, the film has done advance booking of more than 11 crores. By Sunday evening, 'Pushpa 2' had sold more than 50,000 tickets in the US, with 10 days left for its release. The tweet said that the advance booking collection in North America has crossed $1.458 million (about Rs 12 crore), 'which is a record.'
Trade analysts say that the film will cross $1.5 million nine days before its release, which means it will surpass SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' and Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawaan', which are the two biggest-grossing Indian films in the US in recent times. Both films grossed more than $15 million in North America and are among the top five highest-grossing Indian films in the continent.
