Parineeti Chopra Praises Husband Raghav Chadha for His Stand Against Piracy in Parliament

The pair of Bollywood's well-known actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha is very much liked. Both often set a couple of goals for their fans. On many occasions, both have been seen praising each other. Now once again Parineeti has praised her husband.

Recently, Parineeti Chopra has made a special post on X about her husband Raghav Chadha. Praising Raghav, Parineeti has called him a star. It is worth noting that Parineeti's husband and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha was seen speaking on the issue against piracy during his speech in Parliament.

Raghav was also praised by his wife Parineeti for speaking on the issue of piracy. Sharing the video of Raghav's Rajya Sabha speech, Parineeti wrote, 'What should I say about him? You are a star for raising this important issue in Parliament. My love'.

Raghav himself has shared the video of his speech given in Rajya Sabha on X. In this, he is addressing the Parliament speaking against piracy. Sharing his video, the AAP MP has written that, 'Piracy is an important plague that is spreading in the film industry and now in the OTT world as well'.

Raghav told that the film industry is suffering a loss of Rs 20 thousand crore every year due to piracy. He wrote that 'Due to piracy, the film industry is suffering a loss of Rs 20,000 crore annually. Online piracy saw a 62% increase during the pandemic'.

Raghav further wrote that 'We passed the Cinematographic (Amendment) Bill a year ago, but it lacks a concrete mechanism against online piracy and is mainly focused on anti-cam recording in multiplexes. As we are going digital with more films being released on platforms, I ask the government what is being done to curb the issue of digital piracy on OTT and does the government have any plans to bring a dedicated law for this?'

Parineeti is a popular Bollywood actress. She is Priyanka Chopra's cousin. While Raghav is also a popular politician of the Aam Aadmi Party. Raghav and Parineeti got married with great pomp in the year 2023.
