With an IMDb rating of 8, the film has become one of the highest-grossing films in India. 'Love Today' is the second film directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, which was made on a budget of 5 crores and was successful in earning more than 100 crores at the box office.

Superstar Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan is soon going to step into the film industry with Khushi Kapoor. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's 'Loveyapa' is a remake of the Tamil film 'Love Today' which was the biggest hit of the year 2022.

Made in just Rs 5 crore, 'Love Today' broke many records at the box office. It grossed Rs 67 crore in India and Rs 100 crore worldwide and became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2022. 'Love Today' stars Raveena Ravi, Yogi Babu, Satish, Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar and Akshay Udayakumar.

Pradeep Ranganathan's film has now been remade in Hindi as 'Loveyapa'. Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan and Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor will be seen in the lead roles. Directed by Advait Chandan, this romantic comedy is the first film of Junaid and Khushi together. Earlier, Boney Kapoor-Sridevi's daughter Khushi made her OTT debut with 'The Archies' in 2023. At the same time, Reena Dutta-Aamir Khan's son Junaid's first OTT film was 'Maharaj'. 'Loveyapa' is slated to release on February 7. The film also stars Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, Devishi Mandan, Aditya Kulashreshtha, Nikhil Mehta and Jason Tham.
