Jahnvi-Varun's pair will rock the big screen! New release date announced

The release date of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming romantic-comedy film 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' has been changed. Earlier the film was scheduled to hit the theatres on 18 April 2025, but now it will be released on 12 September 2025.

The makers have decided to add more dose of entertainment to the film. For which some extra shooting is required. This especially includes sequences related to destination wedding, in which the entire cast including Varun and Janhvi will participate. Apart from this, two new songs are also planned.

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are in the lead roles in 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari'. Apart from these, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Manish Paul and Akshay Oberoi will also be seen in important roles. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has previously directed successful films like 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and 'Dhadak'.

The story of the film revolves around Sunny (Varun Dhawan) and Tulsi Kumari (Janhvi Kapoor), who are people with opposite characters. Sunny is a fun-loving and carefree youth, while Tulsi is a cultured and serious girl. Destiny brings them together, and they fall in love. However, their different backgrounds and personalities bring many challenges to their relationship.

On the occasion of Holi, Varun Dhawan shared a fun video from the set with Manish Paul, in which both were seen drenched in colors. In this video, he also hinted about the new Holi song of the film, which has increased the excitement among the fans.
