This is the first Diwali in Ayodhya after the construction of the Ram Mandir. Special preparations are being made in Ayodhya for Diwali. In view of the crowd on Diwali in Ayodhya, the administration has also made special preparations. Because of the security of the grand Deepotsav event to be held on October 30 in Ayodhya, the police have closed 17 routes leading to Ram Ki Paidi on the Saryu river. Also, the police have prepared a list of the names of the people living in all the colonies connected to Ram Ki Paidi and Ram Path.

Ayodhya police station inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma said on Monday that 17 roads connected to Ram Ki Paidi have been closed for security reasons. Only pass holders will be allowed to pass through these roads. He said that barriers have been put up on all the roads leading to Ram Ki Paidi. For this, security personnel will be deployed on all the high-rise buildings in the area.

On the occasion of Chhoti Diwali on October 30, vigorous preparations are being made to create a new world record by lighting 28 lakh diyas at Ram Ki Paidi and other ghats. Ghat in-charges and coordinators regularly guide the volunteers who are placing the diyas in an orderly manner on the ghat. According to official sources, 30 ml of mustard oil will be filled in each diya and this process will be carefully monitored. The arrangement of diyas will be completed on Monday evening. After that, the diyas will be counted on October 29. This will be the eighth Deepotsav program in Ayodhya under the rule of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
