Govinda: Struggled for a job but rejected due to lack of English; today he is a big name in Bollywood

Bollywood's Hero No. 1 Govinda struggled a lot to reach today’s position. But there was a time when he struggled a lot for a private company job. But he was always rejected saying that you cannot get this job because you do not know English. Govinda was even rejected for the steward job. Despite being the son of a film producer, Govinda did not live a luxurious life while growing up. His father Arun Kumar worked as an actor in many films in Bollywood and later he started filmmaking. However, his film did not work and the family had to go through a very difficult time.
In the 1950s, film producers used to mortgage their houses and properties to invest money in their films and Govinda's father did the same. As a result, the film flopped and Govinda's father, who had a luxurious house in Bandra, had to move to Virar, which is said to be the outskirts of Mumbai.

Govinda was rejected for a job at the Taj
In the late 1990s, Govinda told Simi Grewal that he once applied for the job of steward, but Taj rejected him. Govinda was not good at English and that was the reason why he was not able to get a job. Govinda told Simi Grewal in an interview that I could not speak in front of her. He said that he did not trust her, how would he even talk? In the same conversation, Govinda also said that he had graduated in commerce and roamed from one office to another in search of a job but in reality, did not get a decent job.
Govinda wanted to buy auto-rickshaw
Finally, Govinda achieved success as an actor and in an interview, he said that at one time he had so much money that he did not know what to do with it. Speaking to Vinay Pathak on the chat show Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, Govinda's brother Kirti said, that one day, they locked the room we were in and all the money, Govind showed all his bank documents.
I was very happy, but we didn't know what to do with that money and Govinda's first thought was Pappu let's buy 100 auto rickshaws.
Govinda's brother said, "This is not our kind of business." After some time, Govinda became a star. Once again, we thought about what to do with so much money, and this time, he said, "Pappu, let's buy 100 trucks." Kirti laughed at the memories and said that his brother always had the same reaction to his ideas.
