ED Raids Target Black Marketing of Concert Tickets for Diljit Dosanjh and Coldplay

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided five cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur in connection with the black marketing of tickets for the concert of Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and Coldplay. The ED has claimed that during the raids in these cities, they have seized several mobile phones, laptops and SIM cards, which were used to sell tickets illegally.

On Saturday, the ED tweeted from its official X (earlier Twitter) handle, "New Delhi ED conducted a search operation at several locations in Delhi Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Bengaluru on 25/10/2024. This action was taken in connection with the illegal sale of tickets for the Dil-Luminati concert of Coldplay and Diljit Dosanjh. During the search operation, several mobile phones, laptops and SIM cards etc. used in the scam were recovered and seized.

During the concerts of Coldplay and Diljit, it was alleged that their tickets were sold illegally at many times the price. After this, an FIR was also registered in this case. Now ED has also entered in this case and has started action against those who are black marketing tickets. On Friday, several ED teams raided five cities.

Punjab's famous singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh announced his Dil-Luminati India Tour a few months ago. Now he has come to India. On Saturday morning, he paid obeisance at Sri Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi. Diljit is going to perform concerts in 12 cities of India. It is starting from Saturday i.e. today. Diljit's concert will be held on 26 and 27 October at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Tickets for this concert were sold out in minutes.
