Big clash on Eid 2025: South's mega film 'L2E: Empuraan' to release a day before Salman Khan's 'Sikandar'

Eid 2025 is going to be very special for the fans of Bollywood and South Indian cinema, as there will be a tremendous clash between the two big films. On the one hand, superstar Salman Khan's much-awaited action film Sikandar is going to be released on the occasion of Eid, while on the other hand, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's blockbuster film Lucifer's sequel L2E: Empuraan is also set to hit the theaters. According to Wikipedia release date of Sikandar is March 28, 2025, while, L2E: Empuraan will be released worldwide on March 27, 2025. There is tremendous excitement among the audience about the release of both films.

Superstar Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's film will be released worldwide on March 27, 2025, announcing which Mohanlal wrote on his official social media page, "The first day, first show of L2E: Empuraan will start at 6:00 AM IST on the 27th of March 2025. Shows across the world will start at the corresponding time in respective time zones. Stay tuned for further details!" Along with this, the post informs that "L2E: Empuraan" will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

For those who don't know, this project directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran is written by Murali Gopi. The sequel to the 2019 drama "Lucifer" is produced by Subaskaran, Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under the banners of Lyca Productions, Ashirvad Cinemas and Sri Gokulam Movies. Apart from Mohanlal, "L2E: Empuraan" also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and 'Game of Thrones' fame Jerome Flynn reprising the role of Khureshi-Abram aka Stephen Nedumpalli. Abhimanyu Singh, Andrea Tivadar, Suraj Venjaramudu, Indrajeet Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nayla Usha, Giju John, Nandu, Shivaji Guruvayur, Manikuttan, Aneesh G. Menon, Sivada, Alex O'Neill, Eric Ebouaney, Mikhail Novikov and Karthikeya Dev are also part of the film.

Let us tell you, Sikandar is one of Salman Khan's most awaited films, in which Rashmika Mandanna is going to be seen in the lead role.
