India Joins Elite League with Successful Hypersonic Missile Test

Pakistan and China have been shaken by the successful test of India's new hypersonic missile. The whole of Pakistan is within the range of this hypersonic missile. At the same time, this missile can cause destruction up to about half of China. This is a big military achievement for India. India successfully tested a long-range hypersonic missile off the coast of Odisha on Saturday. With this successful test, India has stood in the queue of select countries that have a weapon with the ability to attack at very high speed and while avoiding air defense systems. Apart from India, only Russia and China have such a missile. Even America is still in the testing phase.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated the whole country on the successful test of the first hypersonic missile. He has termed it a great achievement and historic. This missile has been developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). This missile is fully capable of carrying various payloads for a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers. This missile has been tested at a time when India is focusing on increasing its combat capabilities in view of China's increasing military power. The biggest feature of this missile is that the enemy country cannot target it even if it wants to.

The hypersonic missile that India has successfully tested has a speed of 11 thousand km per hour. Its striking range is 1500 km. That is, the whole of Pakistan is coming under its range. At the same time, this missile can hit about half of China. Due to this, Pakistan and China are shocked. The whole of Pakistan and about half of China have come under its range.

Generally, hypersonic missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons can fly at a speed of five Mach at sea level. At the same time, some advanced hypersonic missiles can fly at a speed of up to 15 Mach. At present, Russia and China have similar missiles. Whereas, many other countries including America, France, Britain, Japan are working towards developing hypersonic missiles.

The velocity of hypersonic missiles is very fast. Due to this, it is very difficult to target them. Apart from this, their biggest feature is that they can change their path in the middle. Now India has also developed a hypersonic missile. This missile of India is completely indigenous. For the last few years, India has been working rapidly on drones, hypersonic missiles and AI-equipped equipment. In this series, India has developed many missiles of Prithvi, Akash and Agni series.
