Gold prices decline slightly on 27 February 2025; check the rates in major cities

The prices of gold continue to fluctuate daily. In the Indian bullion market today, i.e. Thursday, February 27, there has been a slight decline in the price of gold but it is still above Rs 80 thousand per 10 grams.

According to the Indian bullion market, today the price of 24-carat gold has fallen marginally by Rs 400. The price of 22-carat gold has come down by Rs 380. With this, 24-carat gold in the country has now reached Rs 86647 and the price of 22-carat gold has reached Rs 80,400.

However, there was a slight increase in the price of 24-carat gold in the capital Delhi. Here the price of gold reached not 86 thousand, but 87 thousand 960 rupees per 10 grams. Whereas, if we talk about 22-carat gold, here it remains at 80,640 rupees per gram. At the same time, the price of 24-carat in Mumbai is 87,810 rupees per 10 grams.

Gold prices in India not only depend on its demand and supply, but are also affected by trading activities in global markets. Gold trading in the London OTC spot market and Comex gold futures market has a direct impact on the Indian market. Apart from this, global events, political instability, decisions of central banks and changes in currency exchange rates also affect gold prices.
