Bihar Business Connect 2024: Ambassadors' Meet Strengthens Global Investment Ties

In a significant step towards showcasing Bihar's strategic initiatives, reforms, and investment opportunities on a global platform, the highly anticipated "Bihar Business Connect 2024 – Ambassadors' Meet" was successfully held at the prestigious Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi.


The event, organized by the Industries Department, Government of Bihar, served as a precursor to the upcoming Global Investors' Summit 2024, scheduled to take place on December 19-20 in Patna.


Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Shri Samrat Chaudhary, inaugurated the program, which was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister of Industries and Tourism, Shri Nitish Mishra; Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Shri Amrit Lal Meena; and Secretary, Industries Department, Smt. Bandana Preyashi.


The event witnessed participation from various countries, including the United States, Russia, and Japan, as well as prominent trade organizations such as the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, TPCI, FIEO, AEPC, US-India Business Council, and UK-India Business Council.


In his keynote address, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary highlighted Bihar's industrial development and progress towards sustainable development. "Bihar is leading the way in creating a business-friendly environment, where strategic policies are aligned with inclusive development. We are committed to promoting economic prosperity and global partnerships," he said.


Minister of Industries Shri Nitish Mishra emphasized the state's immense potential, saying, "Bihar offers unique opportunities in areas such as food processing, renewable energy, and infrastructure. The Ambassadors' Meet plays a crucial role in strengthening long-term cooperation and establishing Bihar as a hub for innovation and investment."


The program showcased Bihar's ease of doing business, sustainable industrial processes, and sector-specific development strategies. Various departmental secretaries, including IT, Labour, and Energy, presented the state's initiatives to attract investors.


The interactive discussions with foreign delegations and industry leaders promoted the expansion of trade relations, bilateral cooperation, and the convergence of Bihar's development path with global expertise. The Ambassadors' Meet laid a strong foundation for the upcoming Global Investors' Summit 2024 and established Bihar as an attractive destination for global trade and investment. This initiative reflects the state's progressive, inclusive, and investor-centric industrial vision.
