Apple Launches iPhone 16 Series in India, Sparks Massive Demand

Premium mobile maker Apple has launched the iPhone 16 series of smartphones in India from today, September 20. People are seeing competition to buy this phone. Huge crowds have gathered outside the Apple store in Mumbai's BKC since morning. This is the first Apple Store in India.

The company plans to start assembling the iPhone Pro series in India for the first time. However, those models will start selling later. An Apple India spokesperson said, “The entire series of iPhone 16 will be available across the country from Friday.” However, the company did not comment on the availability of the iPhone Pro series manufactured in India.

This is the first time the company is selling the iPhone Pro series at a lower price than the previous version, mainly due to the import duty cut in the recent budget. ‘The iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900 and the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,44,900,’ the company said in a statement.’

About a year ago, the iPhone 15 Pro was launched at a starting price of Rs 1,34,900 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max at Rs 1,59,9 The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB and one TB storage capacities.
