Neem Karoli Baba's ideals still relevant: Shri Narendra Thakur

New Delhi: February 16, 2024, the book "Mahan Sant Neem Karoli Maharaj", based on the memoirs of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, was released by Shri Narendra Thakur Ji, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Shri Ritesh Agarwal Ji, Delhi Prant Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, was also present on the occasion. The book, written by Shri Narendra Verma, has been published by Pratima Prakashan.

Addressing the program, Shri Narendra Thakur Ji said that India is the land of spiritual saints and sages. Neem Karoli Baba was also one such great saint. He said that Baba Neem Karoli would ask all his devotees to chant Ram-Ram. This shows that Lord Rama has been the greatest deity of the saints and sages of India for centuries. Today, the whole country is becoming Ram-may, and the credit for this goes to our saint society. He said that the installation of the idol of Lord Rama in Ayodhya has established the glory of Sanatan culture in the country. Baba Neem Karoli maintained this glory throughout his life and called upon people from all over the world to connect with Lord Rama.

In the book launch event of "Mahan Sant Neem Karoli Maharaj", Shri Narendra Thakur Ji said that saints have always been respected in Indian society. In ancient times, many accomplished saints and sages spread the teachings of Sanatan Dharma in society. The ideals and teachings of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj are being accepted by people even in the Western world today.

He said that Baba spent his entire life in just one blanket. He stayed away from ostentation and pomp. Baba built many temples of Hanuman Ji and emphasized the importance of worship and devotion to God in life. Shri Narendra Thakur Ji said that saints like Baba Neem Karoli brought everyone together for the good of the nation and society. He considered caste discrimination to be against Hinduism.

He said that if the present generation learns from this book and follows the path of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, it will be their welfare.
