Journalism Workshop at Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute with Sumit Awasthi (NDTV)
Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences organized a workshop on journalism, featuring distinguished industry expert Sumit Awasthi, Consulting Editor and Prime Time News Anchor, NDTV. The event provided an invaluable platform for aspiring journalism students and media enthusiasts to gain insights from one of the most respected voices in Indian journalism.
During the workshop, Sumit Awasthi shared his extensive experience and expertise in the field of journalism, covering a wide range of topics, including shared insights on revitalizing the art of news presentation in newspapers, focusing on enhancing interest, maximizing growth opportunities, and incorporating storytelling method to engage everyone on a deeper level. Sumit Awasthi expressed his enthusiasm for interacting with the students and faculty at LLDIMS, stating, “Every job title in the newsroom is important but the news producer acts as a captain of the ship. He or she has the power of making and breaking a story”. Sumit Awasthi also hosted a press conference to further elaborate on his insights.
