BJP frauds people with "Jhoot ki Baat" in the name of "Mann ki Baat": Mamata Banerjee

In order to win the 2024 Lok Sabha election, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urges for unity among the opposition. She claims that the vote will bring about change. She referred to the BJP's Mann Ki Baat programme as "Jhoot ki Baat" in a dig at it. In response, the BJP claimed that Banerjee only spoke the corrupt language and would never comprehend the Mann ki Baat of the Prime Minister.

Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat programme on Tuesday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee declared that the Lok Sabha election of 2024 would be a vote for change and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of duping voters with their "Jhoot ki Baat" platform.

Change is essential for the nation. In a video message to commemorate the second anniversary of her party Trinamool Congress's (TMC) resounding victory in the 2021 assembly elections, she declared that the upcoming election in 2024 would be a vote for change. Following the announcement of the election results on May 2, 2021, the TMC regained control for the third consecutive time.

I would urge all opposition (non-BJP) parties to get together. In the nine-minute video message, Banerjee predicted that the BJP would lose power this time.

Banerjee has previously urged opposition unity in the run-up to the 2024 elections. She has long argued for a third front to fight the BJP's hold on power, led by regional satraps. At the state secretariat in Kolkata, she recently had a meeting with Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, and Tejashwi Yadav, his deputy. She met Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Janata Dal (S), and HD Kumaraswamy, the former chief minister of Karnataka.

The BJP deceives people with 'Jhoot ki Baat' in the name of Mann ki Baat. Before every election, the BJP makes pledges that it promptly breaks. We must struggle against the mafia, gangster, and financial might of a wicked, evil regime. However, West Bengal will never submit, she remarked.

PM Modi will arrive in Kerala around midday and attend political events and project inaugurations.

The TMC leader only speaks the language of corruption, the BJP quickly responded, and he would never grasp the Prime Minister's Mann ki Baat.
