Sheikh Hasina Landed at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad
She has not sought asylum but will stay in India for a few days. She can fly from here to London
Awami League leader and Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has left her country for India with the post of PM. It was reported that she landed at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi.
According to sources, the plane landed at Hindon Air Base at 5:36 pm. Senior Air Force officials welcomed Sheikh Hasina.
She has not sought asylum but will stay in India for a few days. She can fly from here to London (UK).
Sheikh Hasina has resigned as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and fled the capital Dhaka around 2.30 pm today. She resigned and left the country amid anti-reservation protests in the country since last month. After the resignation of the Prime Minister, the army has now taken over the rule of Bangladesh.
After Hasina left, protesters entered the PM's residence in Dhaka and started to panic. Photos and videos that emerged of the riots showed protesters carrying coffee machines, pots, furniture and other expensive items.
