Atishi, a first-time politician, expressed both gratitude and sorrow over Kejriwal’s departure, calling his resignation an "Agni Pariksha" (trial by fire) amid corruption allegations against him.

As she takes over the reins, Atishi vowed that the people of Delhi would come together to re-elect Kejriwal as Chief Minister. She remains firm that under her leadership, the party's mission to provide quality services to the people of Delhi will continue unabated, despite opposition efforts to undermine their progress.
