Yogi Adityanath Accuses Samajwadi Party and Congress of Supporting Kolkata Accused, Claims 'Spirit of Jinnah'
Uttar Pradesh CM Blames Congress and Samajwadi Party for Supporting the Accused and Disrupting Social Harmony
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly attacked the opposition parties over the Kolkata rape and murder incident. He accused the Samajwadi Party and the Congress of supporting the accused in the Kolkata incident and said that both parties have the 'spirit of Jinnah'.
In Aligarh on Wednesday, CM Yogi Adityanath said, 'Does the Samajwadi Party chief have the right to speak on the safety of daughters? An unfortunate incident happened with a young doctor in Kolkata, the whole country is raising its voice against it but the Samajwadi Party chief is shamelessly defending the accused.'
Yogi Adityanath further said, 'Congress and Samajwadi Party have the spirit of Jinnah. Jinnah had divided the country. These people (Congress and Samajwadi Party) are doing the same thing today.' He said, 'You have seen India after independence. The social fabric was being torn apart. The benefits of development schemes were given after discrimination based on caste, religion, language and region.'
Naming the opposition parties, he said, 'When Congress, Samajwadi Party or Bahujan Samaj Party get power, these people destroy the social fabric. They take society away from development with their appeasement schemes. They have worked to harm the security of the country and even today they are doing the same thing.'
Yogi Adityanath said that today anyone can see development and this government is providing houses, jobs and electricity to everyone without discrimination. Repeating the slogan of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas', he said, 'We will not discriminate against anyone, but will also not let anyone spread anarchy and chaos. If someone walks on the path of anarchy, then that path will take him to Yamraj.'
