Uttar Pradesh Government Transfers 33 IAS and 3 IPS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh transferred 33 IAS and 3 IPS officers late night. According to the transfer list released on Monday (21 April) night, the District Officers of 11 districts including Varanasi, Azamgarh and Bhadohi and 24 Deputy SPs have been changed.

Varanasi Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma has been made the Secretary of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Whereas, the responsibility of Divisional Commissioner in Varanasi has been handed over to DM S Rajlingam. The new DM of Varanasi will be Satyendra Kumar. He was currently the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.

3 IPS and 24 DSP transfers

The Home Department of Uttar Pradesh has also transferred 3 IPS and 24 DSPs. The responsibility of Meerut ADG has been taken back from senior IPS officer Dhruvkant Thakur (DK Thakur) and handed over to IPS Bhanu Bhaskar. DK Thakur will now be ADG of SSF (Secretariat Security Force). ADG Bhanu Bhaskar was in charge of Prayagraj Kumbh. In her place, Sanjeev Gupta, who was looking after the responsibility of Secretary in the Home Department, has been made Prayagraj ADG.

16 new DSPs appointed, responsibilities of 8 changed

The Home Department of Uttar Pradesh has also transferred 24 DSPs. 2 transfer lists of Deputy SPs have been issued. 16 DSPs have recently completed their training. Whereas, the jurisdiction of 8 DSPs has been changed and they have been posted at new places.
