UP Government Warns: No Salary for Employees Who Fail to Submit Property Details on Time; Deadline Extended to 30 September

State Employees in Uttar Pradesh Get an Additional Month to Submit Property Information or Face Salary Withholding

If the government employees in Uttar Pradesh do not give the details of their property on time, then they will not get the salary. The government has extended the last date for giving the details by one month. All government employees will have to give their property details by 30 September, otherwise, salary will not be credited to the account. Earlier the deadline for this was given as 31 August. But now giving relief, it has been extended. Now the employees have the whole month of September to give the details of the property. The UP government had earlier said that if the state employees do not give the details of their property by 31 August, then their salary will be stopped.

Now the government has extended the last date for giving property information by one month to 30 September. The Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh had directed all the state employees to submit the details of their property on 17 August. All the departments were also ordered that only those employees who give the details of the property by 31 August, their August salary should be released. According to the information, there are about 846640 state employees in Uttar Pradesh. Out of these, only 602075 employees have so far given the details of their movable and immovable property on the Manav Sampada portal.

According to the information revealed, the departments that have given the details of the property so far include employees of Sainik Welfare, Textile, Sports, Energy, Agriculture and Women Welfare Department. At the same time, the names of employees of the Education Department, Health and Industrial and Revenue Department are coming to the fore in the case of hiding property.

UP DGP Headquarters had written a letter to the Appointment Department and appealed to extend the time limit for giving the details of the property. It was said in the letter that due to police recruitment exams and festivals, many policemen could not give the details of their property on time. There is also news that due to not giving the details of the property on time, the salary of many employees has been stopped.
