UP Board 2024 Examination Dates Announced: Over 55 Lakh Students to Appear
Class 10th and 12th exams will be held from 24 February to 12 March, despite Maha Kumbh; Fewer registrations this year compared to 2023.
The dates of the UP Board examination have been announced. This time the board examination of class 10th and 12th will be conducted from 24 February to 12 March. This time more than 55 lakh students will appear in the board examinations of high school and intermediate.
It was believed that due to Maha Kumbh, the date of examination may be later. But the UP government decided to conduct the examination on time keeping in view the academic calendar and the future of the students.

It was being speculated that the board examinations of High School and Intermediate of the Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) in the year 2024 in Uttar Pradesh may be held later than last year due to Maha Kumbh. Last year i.e. the board examinations of 2023 started from 22 February 2024.
This time 27,40,151 candidates will appear in the high school examination of Uttar Pradesh Board, while 26,98,446 candidates will appear in the intermediate examination. Keeping in mind this huge number of students, the board officials have taken this step so that there is no problem in conducting the examinations and the security of the examination centers can be ensured.
Let us tell you the changes in the last five years In the last five years, only in 2022 the examination was conducted in the month of March, while in other years the examination used to start by the end of February.
Students have registered for UP Board 2025, Asia's largest examination. 54 lakh 38 thousand 597 candidates have registered themselves in this examination. However, this year fewer students have registered for the exam as compared to last year.
In this UP Board examination, 27 lakh 40 thousand 151 candidates have registered in high school and 26 lakh 98 thousand 446 candidates have registered in intermediate examination. In the previous exam, 55 lakh 25 thousand 308 students had registered, out of which 29 lakh 47 thousand 311 were registered for high school and 25 lakh 77 thousand 997 were registered for intermediate.
