Bus Carrying Pilgrims from Gujarat Collides with Stationary Tanker; Police Confirm Relatives of Deceased Notified
A major accident took place in the Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh. A passenger bus going from Ayodhya to Vrindavan on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in the Nasirpur police station area of the district collided from behind with a tanker standing on the road on Friday. Due to this, three pilgrims on board died during treatment in the hospital. Giving this information, the police said that the other five injured passengers were being treated in the hospital.
Giving information about the accident, Superintendent of Police Rural Akhilesh Bhadauria said that a bus carrying pilgrims from Gujarat to Uttar Pradesh on a pilgrimage met with an accident on the expressway on Friday morning. This bus collided from behind with a canter standing on the road, due to which eight passengers on board were badly injured.
He said that the bus was full of about 40 pilgrims from Gujarat and was going from Ayodhya to Vrindavan. This accident happened at six in the morning. After this, all the injured were admitted to the hospital. Where they are undergoing treatment.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural said that among the injured admitted to the hospital, Radhaben (60 years old) wife of Kantibhai, Isha Patel (two years old) daughter of BL Patel and Yug son of Milan (13 years old) died during treatment. Five other injured are undergoing treatment.
After this accident, the traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time. For a long time, people had to face difficulty in taking out their vehicles. After some time it was started. According to the police, information has been sent to the relatives of the deceased.
