Hackers Replace Court's Name with "Ripple," Raising Concerns Over Cybersecurity in the Judiciary's Online Platforms
The YouTube channel of the Supreme Court was hacked on Friday. After hacking the channel, the hackers have written Ripple instead of Supreme Court India. Currently, videos promoting cryptocurrency are being shown on the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court. News agency ANI has given this information.

The videos promoting XRP being shown on the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court are the cryptocurrency of the American company Ripple. It is known that the Supreme Court has been using YouTube to stream the hearing of cases listed before the Constitution Benches and matters related to public interest.
Recently, the hearing on the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape and murder case was live-streamed on YouTube. Citing a senior Supreme Court official, the Indian Express said that the IT team is in touch with the National Informatics Center (NIC) regarding this.
This hacking incident raises serious concerns about the security of the online platform used by the judiciary. This cyber incident comes after a phishing attack last year when a fake website of the Supreme Court was created to steal confidential information.
