Science and Technology Department Reviews Progress in Engineering and Polytechnic Institutes

A review meeting was held in the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education under the chairmanship of the Secretary of the Department, Dr. Pratima. In the meeting, all the Assistant Directors of the Department were asked about the latest information of the schemes running in various engineering and polytechnic institutes, the status of equipment, infrastructure, engineering, gymnasium, sports grounds, classrooms, Wi-Fi, hostels, boundary walls etc. and information was also obtained on the following points-

•  Status of priority list of institution-wise schemes allotted to Assistant Directors.
•  Status of expenditure of the amount provided to various institutions.
•  Status of submission of DC bill of the amount provided to the institutions under Bihar Council on Science and Technology/Department.

It was told that the institutions in which the percentage of expenditure on these works is low, need to expedite the execution of works and complete them. Biometric Attendance of students and faculty, Internship Programme, Society Registration, Student Credit Card Scheme etc. were also discussed in the meeting.

Department Director Mr. Udayn Mishra, Additional Secretary Mr. Ahmed Mahmood, Joint Secretary Mr. Gajendra Mishra, Special Officer Mrs. Monika Thakur, Mrs. Soni Kumari etc. were present in the said meeting.
