Rajasthan: Nursing Officer Arrested for Molestation in Churu Hospital; Victim Attempts Suicide

A case of molestation of a female employee of a government hospital has come to light in the Churu district of Rajasthan. The victim, upset by this incident, tried to commit suicide by consuming poison.

In this case, the police registered a case based on a complaint and arrested the accused nursing officer. This incident has come to light at a time when protests are taking place all over the country after the rape and of a female doctor in Kolkata.

According to the information, this case is of a government hospital in Churu district. Here the female employee posted as a ward girl had accused the nursing officer of molestation.

According to the police, a few days ago, the victim, upset by the molestation, tried to commit suicide by consuming poison, after which the victim was admitted to the hospital.

The victim was admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment. Police say that she was molested by nursing officer Subhash Chandra Sihag in the hospital. After registering the case, the accused has been arrested.

Regarding this incident, Churu Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav said that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against nursing officer Subhash Chandra Sihag at Dudhwakhara police station on August 18. The police have arrested him and started questioning him about the case.
