Pravasi Samman Diwas: Lakhisarai Celebrates Heritage and Engages Migrants on Day Two

District administration showcases Lakhisarai’s cultural and historical legacy while addressing civic, health, education, and environmental concerns raised by migrants from across India and abroad.;

Today, on 10.01.2025, the second day of the Pravasi Samman Diwas celebration was organized in the consultation room located in the Collectorate from 4:00 pm. The program started with the address of District Officer Mr. Mithilesh Mishra. On the second day also, the migrants of Lakhisarai district joined this program organized by the district administration through online and physical medium.

Lakhisarai district's heritage such as - Railway Station Lakhisarai, Kiul Bridge, Living Artworks of Lakhisarai Museum, Shaheed Dwar, Kiul River, Satsanda Mountain, Ashok Dham etc. were displayed through PPT and the history of Lakhisarai village was displayed through short video.

01 First of all, Mr. Mrinal Madhav drew the attention of the district administration towards the arrangement of civic amenities such as toilets in Shringi Rishi Dham. He emphasized the possibility of tourism and sports in Lakhisarai district. He told that there is a lot of potential for badminton in the district.

02 Dr. Vinod Chaudhary, joining from America, offered help to develop the health sector and civic amenities.

03 Shri Nagmani, joining from America. He told about the importance of his birthplace. He also told that he has been able to reach such a good place only due to the blessings and deeds of his parents.

04 Seema Kumari, joining from Agra.

She has appealed to the district administration to keep Lakhisarai station clean. She also told that women education is very important in today's era. This makes women self-reliant.

05 Shri Vikas Kumar, joining from West Bengal. He has appealed to the district administration to promote civic amenities. He has appealed to pay attention to the arrangement of parks and cleanliness in the city.

06 Shri Ravi Shankar, joining from America. He has requested the district administration that in today's era we have to pay attention to the environment and tree plantation. He also said that people should have information related to cyber security so that people can avoid digital fraud.

07 Shri Hariprasad joined from Kolkata. He expressed his gratitude towards the district administration. He said that he liked the programme very much. He was overwhelmed by being honoured by the district administration.

Additional Collector Shri Sudhanshu Shekhar, Deputy Development Commissioner Shri Sumit Kumar, Nodal of the programme Shri Shashi Kumar, Assistant Director Social Security Cell Ms Neena Nancy Murmu, Director District Rural Development Agency Shri Neeraj Kumar, District Art and Culture Officer Shri Mrinal Ranjan, District Public Relations Officer Shri Vinod Prasad, all Zonal Officers and visiting guests were present in the programme.
