After the 'Pahalgam terror attack' in Jammu and Kashmir, a high alert has been issued in the country. Search operation is being carried out in search of terrorists. National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reached Srinagar. Army, CRPF, SOG, Jammu Police have surrounded the entire area. Search for terrorists is going on with helicopters and drones.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday (April 23) paid tribute to the tourists killed in the 'Pahalgam terror attack'. Shah met the victim families at the police control room. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has started investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack. On Wednesday, officials said that a team of NIA has been sent to Pahalgam. The team is headed by the Inspector General. According to sources, this team will assist the local police in the investigation.

The seriousness of the attack, international response and security strategies were discussed in detail in the meeting.
Congress MP KC Venugopal and Jammu and Kashmir Congress President Tariq Hameed Karra paid tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack in Srinagar. Venugopal said - the whole country is united to express solidarity with the families of the deceased. We all stand with our citizens.
Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan has nothing to do with the Pahalgam attack. In an interview to a Pakistani TV channel, Khawaja Asif claimed that the violence in Jammu and Kashmir is due to domestic reasons and insurgency. He named many parts of India like Nagaland, Manipur, Chhattisgarh and Kashmir and said that there is insurgency against the Indian government in these states.
