In a significant move to boost development in Darbhang Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple projects worth approximately Rs 1500 crore. The projects aim to improve infrastructure, healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities in the region.

During his visit to Darbhanga, the Chief Minister inaugurated 89 projects worth Rs 935.28 crore and laid the foundation stones for 97 projects worth Rs 561.75 crore. The projects include the construction of roads, bridges, schools, healthcare facilities, and community centers.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated a newly constructed building for the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Singhwara block. He interacted with the students and encouraged them to pursue their education.

In addition, the Chief Minister inspected the construction work of the Darbhanga Bus Stand and directed the officials to complete the project on time. He also reviewed the progress of the Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital and instructed the officials to ensure that the hospital provides quality healthcare services to the people.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new building for the Darbhanga Police Commissionerate. He inspected the newly constructed building for the Senior Superintendent of Police and directed the officials to ensure that the building is used efficiently.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister inaugurated multiple police stations and buildings in the region, including the Model Police Station in Bahadurganj and the Police Station in Lohia Nagar.

The Chief Minister's visit to Darbhanga is seen as a significant move to boost development in the region. The projects inaugurated and launched by the Chief Minister are expected to improve the lives of the people in Darbhanga and surrounding areas.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, and Darbhanga MP Gopalji Thakur.
