Factory Engulfed in Flames Following a Short Circuit; Estimated Loss of ₹20 Crore, Firefighting Efforts Continue
A massive fire suddenly broke out in the Hi Care factory located in the Mangalam Industries area in the Manoharpur area of Jaipur in Rajasthan. The flames of fire engulfed the entire factory in no time. The fire destroyed the machines and all the goods kept in the factory. A loss of about Rs 20 crore is expected due to the fire. Upon receiving the information about the fire, more than half a dozen fire engines and water tankers reached the spot, even after hours of hard work, the fire had not been controlled yet and efforts to control it were on.
According to the information, napkins and diapers are made in this factory located in the Mangalam Industries area of Manoharpur. On Saturday afternoon, the workers were doing their work in the factory. Suddenly a fire broke out in the factory due to a short circuit. At first, the workers tried to extinguish the fire themselves but the fire kept increasing. The fire took a monstrous form and engulfed the entire factory in no time.
The horror of the fire was so intense that the smoke was visible up to about 10 kilometers away. During the fire, the workers saved their lives by moving away from the factory. On receiving the information, the DSP, SHO and Tehsildar along with other policemen reached the spot and took information about the incident. As a precaution, they shut down the electricity supply in the area. As soon as the information was received, fire brigade teams from Shahpura, Amer, Chaumu, Kotputli, Viratnagar and other places reached the spot and tried to control the fire. At the same time, efforts were made to control the fire by getting water from private tankers. At present, fire brigade personnel are trying to extinguish the fire.
