CM Nitish Kumar Announces Rs. 4 Lakh Ex-Gratia for Each Victim's Family, Urges Caution During Severe Weather

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar has expressed deep condolences on the death of 06 persons in Madhubani, 04 in Aurangabad, 02 in Patna, 01 in Rohtas, 01 in Bhojpur, 01 in Jehanabad, 01 in Saran, 01 in Kaimur, 01 in Gopalganj, 01 in Lakhisarai, 01 in Madhepura and 01 in Supaul due to lightning in the last 24 hours.

The Chief Minister said that he is with the affected families in this hour of disaster. Today itself, the Chief Minister has given instructions to give ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4 lakhs each to the families of the deceased.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the people that everyone should be very cautious during bad weather. In case of bad weather, follow the suggestions issued from time to time by the Disaster Management Department to protect from lightning. Stay indoors and stay safe during bad weather.
