Former Bihar CM and Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav is once again in Mumbai for treatment where he has undergone angioplasty. According to sources, he is undergoing treatment in a Mumbai hospital. His angioplasty was done there.

Sources said that Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad Yadav has undergone an angioplasty in a Mumbai hospital. On September 10, he was admitted to the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai. He underwent an angioplasty on Wednesday. The 76-year-old former Chief Minister of Bihar may be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.

Earlier in 2014 also, Lalu Prasad was treated at the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai. At that time, a six-hour long surgery was done and his heart valve (aortic valve replacement) was replaced. After this, in 2018 and 2023 also, he went to the Asian Heart Institute for treatment. According to sources, once again on September 10, he was admitted for angioplasty. Let us tell you that angioplasty is a process by which the blockage in the veins of the heart is removed.

Earlier in November 2022, Lalu Prasad had undergone a kidney transplant. Lalu Prasad's daughter Rohini donated a kidney for her father. This transplant took place at a hospital in Singapore. Lalu Prasad, who was battling illness for a long time, agreed to get a kidney transplant after the advice of specialist doctors and daughter Rohini.
