Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in the case of brutality with a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College, was brought in front of the judge on Friday (August 23) to be asked if he wanted to undergo a polygraph test. After being asked this question, Sanjay Roy started crying in front of the judge and said, ‘I am innocent. I am being framed’.

On Friday, the CBI presented the accused Sanjay Roy in a Kolkata court and asked him for permission to undergo a polygraph test. After the news of Sanjay Roy crying, this case has now taken a different turn. Because till now the CBI has been calling Sanjay Roy an animal-like person and was saying that he has no feelings. But now when Sanjay Roy is calling himself innocent, this has raised questions in people's minds whether there can be any truth in this.

According to media reports, when the judge asked Sanjay Roy on Friday why he wanted to undergo a polygraph test, Sanjay started crying and then he told the court that he agreed to the test because he is innocent and he is being framed. Perhaps this test will prove this.

The purpose of a polygraph test is to extract the truth from a person. During this test, the person is connected to a machine and questions are asked to him. While answering the questions, the polygraph test machine measures the physical reactions of the person such as heart rate, blood pressure and breathing rate. It is believed that if a person lies during this time, his heart rate and blood pressure level increases.
