JPU Scholar Kaustubh Nihal Aces UGC NET JRF with 99.86 Percentile

Former Microsoft champion continues streak of academic excellence, crediting family support and civil services preparation.

Kaustubh Nihal, a research scholar of the Department of Political Science, Jaiprakash University, Chhapra, has cracked UGC JRF with 99.86 percentile in the UGC NET JRF results released by NTA late last night. Before this, he reached NET twice and the third time NTA exam was cancelled. The result of the exam held on September 24 has come late last night.
Kaustubh Nihal is the second child and elder son of senior journalist, advocate, theatre artist Dr. Amit Ranjan and Saran Academy teacher Kanchan Bala, who had been preparing for civil services in Delhi for a few years. Kaustubh has been famous for his special talent since childhood. He became India's champion in Microsoft's World Championship by mastering Word, Excel and Power Point in just the ninth grade. But he could not participate in the US World Championship due to visa issues, so Microsoft made him the brand ambassador of the competition.
Kaustubh Nihal has attributed this achievement to the blessings and love of his late grandmother, grandfather, younger grandparents, parents and relatives, elder sister and younger siblings and teachers, as well as his preparation for civil services.
Blessing and congratulating him, JPU's Political Science Department Head and his research director Prof. (Dr.) Vibhu Kumar has said that he is delighted by this achievement of his student and wishes Kaustubh a bright future.
As soon as he got the information about the result, Legislative Councilor Prof. (Dr.) Virendra Narayan Yadav called Kaustubh and blessed him for a bright future.
Grandfather, senior theatre artist and advocate of Gopalganj, Bipin Bihari Srivastava, elder sister Shiksha Srivastava, brother-in-law Nitin, younger brother Sambhal have expressed pride in Kaustubh's success.
