Historic Diwali Celebrations in Ayodhya Mark the First Festival Since the Consecration of the Grand Ram Mandir

Diwali is being celebrated in India. Every corner of the country is illuminated. This is the first Diwali after the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram and the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala in the city of Ayodhya. On Wednesday, Deepotsav is being celebrated in Ram Mandir on the occasion of Chhoti Diwali. This time 25 lakh diyas are to be lit on the banks of the Saryu river, it will be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Yogi Adityanath started the Deepotsav program by lighting the first diya.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath started the program. CM Yogi arrived with the artists dressed as Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita, and Lakshman in a Pushpak Vimaan and welcomed them. Then Lord Shri Ram, Sita Mata, and Lakshman boarded the chariot. CM Yogi pulled the chariot of Shri Ram. Devotees chanted "Jai Gaan" when the chariot reached Ram Katha Park, and Jai Shri Ram slogans were raised.
Yogi performed the aarti of Ram-Sita and Laxman and did Raj Tilak. After this, Yogi Adityanath also performed special worship in Ram Mandir. Compared to last year, this time 1100 people will perform special aarti in the presence of CM Yogi.
The CM said, "Thousands of years ago, devotees across India started celebrating this festival by decorating their houses with garlands of lamps in memory of the arrival of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and the beginning of Ram Rajya. This year's Diwali is historic because after a long wait of 500 years, Lord Shri Ramlala has been seated in his abode." CM Yogi said that these lamps that will be lit by you are not just lamps. This is the belief of Sanatan Dharma. The people of Ayodhya will have to come forward. Mathura-Kashi should look like Ayodhya. - In the Deepotsav of Ayodhya, tableaus have been decorated on 11 chariots on the events of Ram Katha. - During this, 1200 artists from 16 states gave performances. - Performance of folk artists at 10 places, Deepotsav was held in 200 temples of 84 Kos. - Prakash Marg was beautiful till Ayodhya Dham. - 25 lakh diyas will be lit on the banks of Saryu. - During this, laser shows and lighting shows are also being held.
