Global Cruciverbalists Clash in Intense Third Round of Indian Crossword League 2024

Divided by borders, united by crossword, cruciverbalists from around the globe came together to compete in the intense third online round of the Indian Crossword League (IXL) 2024. Eric Agard, the Crossword Editor at Apple News+ and USA Today, continues to hold the lead with 100 points.

Following closely in second place is Ramki Krishnan, an IT professional from Chennai and a six-time IXL champion, with 99 points. In third place is an investment banker by profession and a cruciverbalist by passion Venkatraghvan S from Mumbai. Neville Fogarty from Newport News, USA, and SowmyaRamkumar from Manama, out-stationed participants, are also making their mark in the top 10.

ShashwatSalgaocar, the reigning IXL champion, has surged three places to secure the fourth spot on the leaderboard. Meanwhile, his sister, a grand finalist in NICE 2024, has made her debut on the leaderboard at 93rd position.
