Ahmedabad, Apr 9: Following extensive discussions during the AICC session on Wednesday here, public representatives from across the country approved the party's 'Nyaya Path' resolution through a voice vote.

The Nyaya Path motion was moved by Congress leader Sachin Pilot and was seconded by senior leader Shashi Tharoor.

Party youth leader and Lok Sabha member from Banaskantha, Geniben Thakor, initiated the discussion on the motion and stating that the Congress party has always stood for equality and will remain committed to promoting it.

The nation seeks freedom from the BJP's divisive policies, and only the Congress party is now capable of leading the country towards unity.

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi said, "As a committed soldier of the Congress, I am resolute in walking the path of justice alongside the party—this is our commitment and our struggle. While Congress strives to unite the nation, the BJP sows division through hatred. To eliminate this hatred and protect the country, unity is essential—and this mission can be achieved through Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, which spanned from South to North and East to West."

Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai stated that the party is actively working to strengthen its presence in every village across the state.

He claimed that law and order have completely collapsed in Uttar Pradesh, with incidents of rape occurring frequently and common people facing ongoing atrocities. However, the people of the state are beginning to rise against these injustices, he added.

Rajasthan Congress member Rehana stated that individuals who neither contribute to nor support the party should be removed, while those who are dedicated and actively working to advance the Congress should be given greater opportunities and recognition within the party.

NSUI in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar remarked that the land of Gujarat is sacred and has played a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the nation.

Slamming the RSS, he said, "they wear black caps and engage in dark deeds, whereas we wear white caps and stand for equality in the country."

Those who uphold the Congress' ideology must be given prominence. Every Congress worker is a warrior, and these warriors must take on the responsibility of protecting the Constitution and contributing to the nation’s development, he added.

Rajendra Gautam from Delhi Congress stated that hatred is being incited in the name of religion and caste, and those promoting such division are being rewarded with ministerial positions. He emphasized that Congress workers now must protect the nation.

Former Leader of Opposition in the Gujarat Assembly, Paresh Dhanani, stated that Gujarat's identity has diminished, with corruption becoming a hallmark of the BJP. He noted the growing influence of drug mafias in the state and expressed optimism that change will come to Gujarat in 2027.
