It is worth noting that through the 'Hamara Bihar Hamari Sadak' mobile app, the general public will now be able to report the bad condition of roads like potholes, damaged edges and other problems to the department. This app will be available across the state and will provide a platform to the people to easily share road related problems. Details of the bad condition of any road and its photographs can be uploaded on the app. The purpose of creating the mobile app is to ensure transparency and accountability in the care and maintenance of roads in the rural areas of the state.

This app will provide a list of 65,000 km of rural roads under maintenance in all the blocks of the state. Users can select the road of their block and report potholes or other problems with photos. After registering a complaint through the 'Hamara Bihar Hamari Sadak' app, the problem will be resolved by the concerned officer within the stipulated time frame and the status of problem resolution will also be updated through the app. Once the problem is resolved, the concerned officer will again upload the picture of the repair site. This will ensure transparency in the maintenance and upkeep process of rural roads.
