Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Development Projects Worth Over Rs 120 Crore in Jehanabad
Inaugurates Key Infrastructure Projects, Including Patna-Gaya-Dobhi Road and Panchayat Government Building, and Distributes Benefits Under Various Welfare Schemes
Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today unveiled the stone plaque through remote in Jehanabad district and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 57 crore 14 lakh 59 thousand under various departments and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 65 crore 62 lakh 4 thousand.
While going from Patna to Jehanabad, the Chief Minister inspected the under construction Patna-Gaya-Dobhi link road connecting NH-30 near Saristabad village and NH-83 near Nathupur village and directed to complete the construction work expeditiously. After this, the Chief Minister inspected the under construction ROB in Jehanabad located on Patna-Gaya-Dobhi (NH 83) road. After the inspection, in a review meeting held on NH 83 near Kanaudi village, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department, Mr. Pratyaya Amrit gave detailed information to the Chief Minister regarding the construction work of Patna-Gaya-Dobhi Path (NH 83).
He informed that action is being taken to complete the remaining work expeditiously. When this road is built, the distance from Patna to Dobhi can be covered in 2 hours. During the review, the Chief Minister said that the remaining work of Patna-Gaya-Dobhi road should be completed within 2 months. With the completion of this road, people will save time in reaching Dobhi from Patna and transportation will also become easy. Also, people will save time in reaching Jharkhand.
After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Kalpa Panchayat Government Building in Kalpa village of Jehanabad by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the stone plaque. The Chief Minister inspected various parts of the newly constructed Panchayat Government Building and took information about the arrangements there. In the program organized in the Panchayat Government Building premises, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many schemes of various departments by unveiling the plaque through remote. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe cum Mahila Thana Bhawan in Jehanabad district at a cost of Rs 4.70 crore under the Home Department by unveiling the plaque through remote and also laid the foundation stone of a total of 11 police buildings including 150 Mahila Constable Barracks, Prosecution Building, Regional District Probation Office Building in Jehanabad district at a cost of Rs 15.55 crore.
During the program, the Chief Minister inspected the stalls set up by various departments there. The Chief Minister also distributed cheques to the beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Udyam Udyam Yojana and spectacles to the elderly under the Ujjwal Drishti Yojana. The Chief Minister provided Ayushman Bharat Card to the beneficiaries, a symbolic cheque of Rs 5 lakh 21 thousand to the students under Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, a symbolic cheque of Rs 25 lakh to 50 beneficiary farmers under Jal Chhajan Vikas Yojana under land conservation and a symbolic cheque of Rs 45 crore 26 lakh to 5573 Jeevika self-help groups. The Chief Minister also inspected the renovation work of the pond located in Kalpa village and the paver block path and directed the officials to plant trees in a better manner and to beautify the pond banks.
