The series of bomb threats being received through e-mails is not stopping. On Friday, Jaipur Airport in Rajasthan and three top colleges in Bengaluru received bomb threats, after which the local security agencies also swung into action.

Although no explosives were recovered after the search operation in the college, the threatening mail created panic in the college. Earlier also, many big airports, schools, hospitals and shopping malls in the country have received bomb threats. Security agencies are searching door to door to find the source of the emails coming for the last few months.

According to media reports, these threats have been received by BMS College, MS Ramaiya College and BIT College of Bengaluru. Security agencies have put the college campus on high alert. Apart from this, security arrangements have been increased at Jaipur Airport after receiving a bomb threat email.

After the airport administration received a bomb threat via email, every passenger coming and going to Jaipur Airport is being thoroughly checked. CISF has started the search operation but nothing suspicious has been found.

Last Thursday, nine educational institutions in Tiruchirapalli district of Tamil Nadu received an e-mail on Thursday, claiming that bombs have been planted in their premises. However, after the search, this bomb threat became a rumour. After seeing the e-mail, the management of Campion School in Manapparai immediately informed the police. The bomb detection and disposal squad searched the school premises and later searched other institutions that received similar mail.

The institutions that received the bomb threat included St. Joseph College, Holy Cross College, Manapparai Campion School, Sammath School, Arcot School, Acharya School, Kampan School, St. Anne School and Rajam Public School. After the search, the police confirmed that the threat was a rumour and no bomb was found.
