BJP’s Bold Move in Karhal By-Election: Akhilesh Yadav’s Brother-in-Law Anujesh Yadav to Challenge SP Stronghold

The by-election on the Karhal assembly seat in the Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh is creating a stir in political circles. In this election, BJP has declared Anujesh Yadav as its candidate. Anujesh's wife Sandhya alias Baby Yadav has been the former District Panchayat President of Mainpuri. Apart from this, Anujesh has also worked as a District Panchayat member from Firozabad, due to which he has good political experience. His contesting this election has posed a new challenge to the SP due to family relationships.

BJP has adopted the strategy of family siege of SP by fielding Anujesh Yadav. Anuj will be pitted against Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandson Tej Pratap Yadav, turning this election into a battle of family and political power between SP and BJP. Voting will be held on November 13 for 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh, including Mainpuri, and the results will be declared on November 23.
