Bihar Launches Real-Time Warehouse Inspection Module for PDS Parakh Mobile App
Food and Civil Supplies Managing Director Announces May 1 Implementation to Bring Transparency to Grain Storage Monitoring Across State;

Principal Secretary cum Managing Director, (Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation), Food and Consumer Protection Department, Dr. N. Sarwan Kumar on Monday launched the warehouse inspection module of PDS Parakh mobile application in Satyagandha room of BFSC.
On this occasion, the Principal Secretary said that after the launch of the warehouse inspection module of PDS Parakh mobile application, it will now be possible to inspect all the CMR and TPDS warehouses of the state in real time in an effective and quality manner.
He said that since January 1, 2025, the work of inspection of fair price shops (FPS) of the state is being done through PDS Parakh mobile application, which has encouraged transparency in the work of food distribution in the state.
In this sequence, now from May 1, 2025, PDS Parakh mobile application for warehouse inspection is being implemented in the entire state.
PDS The launch of the warehouse inspection module of Parakh mobile application will bring transparency in the inspection of warehouses (CMR/TPDS). Now the inspection officers will be able to physically inspect the warehouses through this mobile application and upload the inspection report, photo, location and time, date etc. in real time, so that the quantity and condition of the grain kept in the warehouse, the condition of the warehouse and other various information are recorded online in real time, which will make it possible to stop irregularities and irregularities. Through this, it is possible to keep all the inspection reports safe digitally.
In today's program, District Managers (BSFC) from all the districts were connected online and they were also given training about the functioning of PDS Parakh mobile application.
