Bihar Government to Provide Laptops for Efficient Monitoring of Backward Classes Scholarship Scheme
₹1 Crore Approved to Equip 112 Sub-Divisional Welfare Officers, Ensuring Transparency and Speed in Scholarship Distribution
The Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department of the Government of Bihar has decided to provide laptops to the regional offices for effective monitoring of the "Chief Minister Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Post-Entry Scholarship Scheme-2023". This initiative will expedite the implementation of the scheme and ensure transparency. A total amount of Rs 1 crore has been approved by the departmental minister Hari Sahni for the purchase of laptops.
This technical assistance will help the total 112 Sub-Divisional Welfare Officers (SDWO) currently working in the area to identify, verify and conduct the scholarship distribution process of the beneficiaries of the scheme more efficiently. This initiative will make effective monitoring of the scholarship scheme possible.
