The education department of the Bihar government in order to fill the option of three districts from recommended candidates;
The Education Department (Directorate of Primary Education) of the Bihar Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has taken an important initiative to make the selection process for the posts of Headmaster in the state transparent and streamlined. Under this initiative, an order has been issued to fill the option of three districts for the Headmaster candidates recommended by BPSC.
Under Advertisement No. 25/2024, BPSC recommended 36,947 posts of Head Master, and all these candidates were consulted from 9 to 13 December 2024 in the district of their current posting. Now, the department has started a new process for district allocation to these successful candidates, in which each candidate has been directed to fill the option of three districts.
All recommended candidates have to fill in the preference options of three districts in descending order through the e-Shiksha Kosh portal. On the basis of these options, district allocation will be done according to their merit and priority. If a candidate does not get a district according to their preference, they will be appointed to the vacant post located in the nearest district.
This process will run from 10 January 2025 to 20 January 2025, and all the District Education Officers have been instructed to provide the necessary guidelines to the recommended candidates of their district to complete this process.
