Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Inspects Rajgir Sports Complex, Urges Swift Completion of World-Class Facilities
Nitish Kumar Highlights the Importance of Creating a Sports Environment and Attracting Tourists in the Historic City
Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar inspected the Rajgir Sports Complex today. During this, he inspected various parts of the indoor and outdoor stadium. He also inspected the International Cricket Sports Academy cum under-construction stadium. During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the remaining construction work expeditiously.
He said that to provide world-class facilities in this sports academy, complete the work in a quality manner. This academy will be equipped with unique and ultra-modern facilities for the country.
Apart from training centres for many sports, there will also be a world-class sports library. These efforts will help in creating a sports environment in the state and also provide opportunities to talented youth. He said that Rajgir is a historical place. All kinds of facilities have been arranged here. A large number of tourists come here. Rajgir has now become a center of attraction for tourists.
During the inspection, Rural Development Minister Shri Shravan Kumar, MP Shri Kaushlendra Kumar, MLA Shri Krishna Murari Sharan alias Prem Mukhiya, former MLA Shri Chandrasen Kumar, former MLA E. Sunil, former Legislative Councilor Shri Raju Yadav and other public representatives, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddharth, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Anupam Kumar, Secretary of Building Construction Department cum Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Kumar Ravi, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Shri Gopal Singh, Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority Shri Ravindran Shankaran, Commissioner of Patna Division Shri Mayank Barbare, Inspector General of Police of Patna Zone Mrs. Garima Mallik, District Magistrate of Nalanda Shri Shashank Shubhankar, Superintendent of Police of Nalanda Shri Ashok Mishra and other senior officers were present.
