Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Inaugurates and Lays Foundation for Development Projects Worth Rs 493 Crore in Supaul

99 Projects Inaugurated and 112 New Schemes Launched Aiming at Rural Development and Basic Infrastructure Improvements

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone on Wednesday and inaugurated various development schemes worth Rs 493 crore in Maladh village of Kisanpur block of Supaul district in Bihar. During this, the Chief Minister visited the Mahadalit colony and inspected the already decorated pond and school.

After this, he also distributed cheques among the beneficiaries of various government schemes. The purpose of the CM's visit was to review the area's development works and lay the foundation stone for new projects so that the local people could gain economic and social benefits.

On the other hand, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Energy Minister Vijendra Prasad Yadav were also present with him on this occasion. During the Chief Minister's visit, the administration had banned the media from going near due to security reasons.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated 99 schemes at Rs 224 crore in Supaul and laid the foundation stone of 112 new schemes at Rs 269 crore. On this occasion, the CM dedicated the Railway Overbridge (ROB) constructed in Bhaptiyahi to the public. He also inaugurated the model Bhaptiyahi police station. At the same time, CM Nitish Kumar visited the Mahadalit colony in Malad Panchayat of Kisanpur block and inspected 24 stalls and ponds.

Let us tell you that the objective of these schemes is to develop rural areas comprehensively and through these schemes, the basic facilities are to be improved. Projects related to water resources and energy have been started especially to meet the needs of the rural community. A large crowd of people had gathered for this program.
