Mohammad Arbaaz Nafees, Shivam Kumar, Rajiv Gupta and Gulshan Kumar, students of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Bakhtiyarpur Engineering College, Bakhtiyarpur, have presented two research papers related to solar thermal energy collectors at ICMMSE:IR 2024, a major international conference held in Nashik, Maharashtra. Dr. Anil Singh Yadav, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, mentored by these students, played an important role in the presentation of these papers. Both the papers will be published in the Scopus-indexed journal, American Institute of Physics Conference Proceedings, which will give international recognition to the work of these students.

These research papers discussed in detail the latest research and techniques done in the field of solar energy, which aim to improve the performance of solar thermal energy collector systems. The students highlighted various effective measures to promote innovation in the solar energy sector from a technical point of view, so that the use of this important source of energy can be made more effective and efficient. A solar thermal energy collector is a device that stores heat from the sun and converts it into a useful form. Solar thermal energy collectors are used in water heating, green buildings, agriculture, industrial processes and solar cooling. Both these research papers discuss in detail new technologies to increase the efficiency of solar thermal energy collection.
