Domestic motorcycle, scooter and auto rickshaw manufacturing company Bajaj Auto is working on several new clean and green energy vehicles. Bajaj launched the world's first CNG bike a few days ago. Similarly, by FY25, Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch new CNG bikes, ethanol vehicles and a new Chetak EV. Bajaj Auto CEO Rajiv Bajaj said in an interview with CNBC-TV18 that the company will soon introduce another CNG motorcycle. Let's know its details in detail.

According to the information, apart from CNG bikes, Bajaj Auto is planning to showcase ethanol-powered bikes and three-wheelers next month. For this, the company has scheduled the launch for FY25. The company also plans to launch affordable and premium electric scooters in FY25, with a new Chetak platform expected early next year.

When asked about launch expectations for electric motorcycles, Bajaj said that there is a trend of green energy-powered motorcycles compared to ICE scooters. Scooters in EVs have far more potential than motorcycles.

He said that these initiatives are part of Bajaj Auto's broader goal of achieving monthly sales of 100,000 green energy vehicles by the festive season. Speaking on the company's progress, Bajaj said that we are on the verge of monthly sales and production of 100,000 clean energy vehicles by this festive season. Let us tell you that Freedom 125 has a range of up to 330 km with a 2 kg CNG cylinder and 2-litre petrol tank.

Rajiv Bajaj said that we expect to deliver 8,000-9,000 Freedom 125 CNG bikes in August. By January we will hit the figure of 40,000 CNG motorcycles per month. He also confirmed that an e-rickshaw will be launched in the next financial year.

The company's electric vehicle (EV) business is already in profit. The company has 18% market share in the electric two-wheeler segment, in which its Chetak scooter competes fiercely with TVS Motors' iQube.

Bajaj Auto is also the market leader in the electric three-wheeler segment with a 36% market share. We are at 36% market share in electric three-wheelers. We want to take it to 80%, Bajaj said.
