Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday invited sanitation workers to his home for tea. He himself shared this information by sharing a post on his social media platform. In his post, Arvind Kejriwal wrote, "Today I have invited sanitation workers to my home for tea. Delhi's sanitation workers work hard day and night; to clean the area around our house, it is our duty to respect their hard work. You must also do this."

He asked other people to do the same and wrote, "You too should invite them to your home for tea on a holiday and talk to them about your joys and sorrows, they will feel very good. Come, let us all together give them respect and contribute to making our Delhi clean and beautiful."

Earlier on Tuesday, on the occasion of Constitution Day, Arvind Kejriwal had said, "It is not a mere coincidence that our party was formed on Constitution Day. God must have thought that the Constitution is in danger and decided that a party is needed to protect it.''

"Our symbol is 'broom', which symbolizes our mission to serve the nation, and to clean the system," he had said. On the party's journey so far, Kejriwal spoke about its role in reshaping politics in the country through the Delhi model. He said providing facilities to common people, developing infrastructure and maintaining budget surplus are priorities.
